What is the North York Moors Tourism Network?
Working in partnership with the North York Moors National Park, the North York Moors Tourism Network is the destination management and marketing organisation for the North York Moors, Howardian Hills and Yorkshire coast fishing villages,
We created the North York Moors Tourism Network to help support tourism and related businesses who want to capitalise on their location in or near the National Park. Our focus is on business support and guidance, marketing, product development, and acting as a catalyst to create new ways for visitors to enjoy this beautiful area. We offer a sounding board and collaborative community for local businesses. We want to help businesses become more sustainable, creating more regenerative tourism which actively benefits the area. Helping visitors to understand and appreciate the area's special qualities underpins our work.
The Network is an informal network of tourism, hospitality, food and drink, and creative businesses. There's no charge to join. The Network is run on a voluntary basis by Susan Briggs. We now have over 600 members and invite you* to join and take part in our events and business support activities. To sign up, just complete the quick form below.

Adventures for the Soul
“I have worked with Susan for over 7 years. When I took over Cawthorne House, I joined the North York Moors Tourism Network, and this opened up access to not only Susan’s insight and marketing expertise, but gave me access to the North York Moors National Park and their incredible PR representation which gave me a springboard for my new business. The Network is an incredible resource and provides everyone with a sounding board for their shared experiences. I cannot thank or recommend Susan and the North York Moors Tourism group enough!”
“As Alum House was a change of direction and a new adventure for us I joined The North York Moors Tourism Network prior to opening our business. The help, advice and support has been great. There is no hidden agenda, no demands and you do not have to commit to anything, you can literally dip in and out as your time allows. Wise words come from Susan’s experience in the industry. Despite a broken arm and a pandemic we have an excellent level of bookings, achieved a 9/10 Telegraph Travel expert rating and take only direct bookings without having to use online travel agents.”
