Promoting arts, heritage & cultural tourism
As part of the Ryedale Destination Development Plan, we're looking at how we can use key themes to promote the area to visitors. To help formulate plans and bring businesses together, we're holding a marketing meeting focusing on arts, heritage and cultural tourism (other topics will follow). If you work in any of these areas in Ryedale and would like to collaborate with others to develop this sector and attract visitors, please do book your place at this free event.
Date: Tuesday, 25th February
Time: 10.00 - 12.00 am. Please arrive promptly for 10.00 am.
Venue: North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Pickering, YO18 7AJ
The session will be led by tourism marketer & founder of the North York Moors Tourism Network, Susan Briggs, together with Craig Nattress, Ryedale Tourism & Development Officer.
Here are some of the questions we'll cover:
Your input is important - it will be used to create an action plan to promote arts, heritage and cultural tourism to visitors.
If you'd like to come along, please complete the form as soon as possible. Spaces are limited so we reserve the right to restrict them to the businesses, individuals and organisations most likely to benefit.
There is a free car park, located off Park Street, 300 yards past the main entrance to Pickering station you turn left, over the bridge and level crossing, then come back on yourself into the car park. There is a walkway to platform 2 where the learning centre is located.
Please note this event is designed for those directly involved in these sectors rather than industry suppliers such as agencies, designers and consultants.
