Catriona McLees is Head of Promotion and Tourism at the North York Moors National Park Authority.
Her role is to raise the profile of the National Park and to encourage more people to visit and enjoy its special qualities.
Catriona was previously Sustainable Tourism Manager at Welcome to Yorkshire, where she responsible for encouraging businesses and visitors to take more action in the field of sustainable tourism and led several marketing campaigns including the Turner Trails and Yorkshire’s Great Outdoors.
Prior to this she managed a four year project for the Peak District National Park Authority, working with local businesses to develop new products and services which made use of the area’s environmental assets.

Emily Watson is Sea Life, See Life Project Co-ordinator at the North York Moors National Park Authority.
Her role is to Co-ordinate the Coastal Communities Funded "Sea Life, See Life" Project.
Alongside this role, Emily still works as a Visitor Centre Assistant at the Moors National Park Centre in Danby.
Before this she was a Wedding Co-ordinator at Danby Castle for approximately 5 years in between various world-wide trips/travelling!

Susan Briggs is Director of The Tourism Network, a specialist consultancy focusing on tourism marketing, training and publishing. She previously worked with Catriona on the LEADER funded Moors & More local distinctiveness project across the North York Moors National Park and Howardian Hills AONB area.
Susan runs the North York Moors Tourism Network on a voluntary basis. She was recently commissioned by NYMNPA to manage the business support elements of the Coastal Communities Funded project "Sea Life, See Life" which will benefit businesses along the North York Moors coast from Saltburn to Cloughton.
Susan also runs marketing campaigns and local distinctiveness projects in the Yorkshire Dales and South Pennines. She is author of several marketing textbooks and speaks regularly at tourism industry events. Before founding her consultancy business in 1990, Susan worked for specialist tour operators and incentive companies.
